Download the music to listen to the music. Tis a midi, so it will not take but a second, literally, to download.
This is one of my more peaceful pieces about a water planet named Zuellia. Water planets are either really stormy and nasty or the pure embodiment of peace and tranquility. I am working on a storm piece as of now, but here's what you have today. The piece is supposed to switch from the theme of just peaceful ambiance to one that I tried as hard to make sound like water, deep water to be exact. But that is besides the point, so just please listen to it, enjoy, and hopefully drop a comment or two. It would be most appreciated!
Done in Music Masterworks, and is my midi, so please let it remain my midi. If you do happen to use it somewhere else, just give the proper credit to me, although why you would use it is beyond me.
This composition is absolutely beautiful. I got such a vivid vision from this, and knew that it was about water even before I read your description. This so belongs in a video game. In particular, it reminds me of the N64 sci-fi shooter Jet Force Gemini (by Rareware). In it, theres a small, lonely island in a wide, colored sea, and this song was very similar to that one.
Ah, reminiscence... great music, man.

Wow. Thanks! I am afraid I've never heard of Jet Force Gemini though, but if its on the N64 and its a shooter, I can't say I wouldn't like it, considering how much I loved the rail-shooter Star Fox for the N64. Again, thanks for compliments and comment!

Jet Force was a rather under-appreciated third-person shooter made by the same people as Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark. The music was so well-produced, and your's is quite similar to it.

I'll have to look into them. Thanks for the comments!

Greatest compliment ever to me is "..it would fit greatly in a video game." But to the meat of the subject, the reason its too fast is I made that midi before I knew I had the power to change the tempo. Maybe I should go back and change it...hmmmm. Thanks for the comments, they are always appreciated!

You're welcome.
Heh, the problem with tempo change. I also didn't know about that for the first 3 months or so. I actually used notes outside of normed intervals (e.g. thirds, fifths, and all that other stuff) to make them longer.
You seem to know your musical stuff pretty well. Do you play in a band by any chance?
